DAY 1 – Arrivals
Fly into Providence RI airport to begin this beautiful holiday. You will be met and transferred to the Holiday Inn, Hyannis, MA your home for four nights. Welcome to the sandy shores of CAPE COD! Later, you will meet your fellow travelers at a welcome reception. Enjoy the indoor pool at your hotel. Dinner with entertainment will be in tour this evening. DAY 2 - Martha's Vineyard
After breakfast in tour this morning, your guide will meet you at your lodging and escort you to the HY-LINE DOCKS where you will board a high speed catamaran for a cruise to the “Storybook Island” of MARTHA’S VINEYARD. Upon arrival you will board a local bus for a DOWN ISLAND TOUR. You will learn about the history and lifestyle of the islanders as you travel through the island’s villages. Lunch and shopping are on your own in the historic whaling village of Edgartown. This evening, enjoy dinner in tour. Holiday Inn, Hyannis, MA (B,D)
DAY 3 - Hyannis to Provincetown
After breakfast in tour this morning, your local guide will meet you at the hotel for a full day of exploring Cape Cod. You will begin in the Cape’s “hub” – HYANNIS. You will stop at the KENNEDY MEMORIAL, and the KOREAN WAR MEMORIAL, drive along MAIN STREET and through the village of HYANNISPORT and view ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH. You then travel along scenic ROUTE 6A driving through colonial villages filled with wonderful examples of New England architecture. You will stop at the EASTHAM WINDMILL, view a Cape Cod LIGHTHOUSE, and drive through the CAPE COD NATIONAL SEASHORE AREA. Sand dunes and the ocean will surround you as you approach your final destination – PROVINCETOWN. “P-town” is a wonderful village that has a rich history combining a love of the sea and the arts. Walk along the waterfront and the narrow main streets and enjoy your free time exploring the shops, galleries, and restaurants that make Provincetown so unique. Optional tours, such as whale watching and museum, monument & dune tour are available. Dinner will be on your own at your leisure tonight in Provincetown. Holiday Inn, Hyannis, MA (B)
DAY 4 - Nantucket
Enjoy breakfast in tour at the hotel. Your guide will meet you and escort you to the HY-LINE DOCKS where you will board a vessel for a cruise to the stunning island of NANTUCKET. Enjoy the opportunity to relax in the “FIRST CLASS” section of the vessel. Upon arrival your guide will point out the restaurants, galleries, shops and museums that are within walking distance of the dock area for your time on your own. You will enjoy a NANTUCKET ISLAND TOUR with narration at a time specified by your guide. Lunch and shopping are on your own. Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes for the historic cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks that line Nantucket’s downtown area. DAY 5 - Home - After breakfast in tour this morning, you will check out and transfer back to the Providence RI airport with many wonderful memories of your Cape Cod vacation. (B)
